Hazel Home AI Backup is a private connection used to keep encrypted copies of one home server’s data in a dedicated Google Drive account.
The backup is encrypted on the server before upload. The connection asks Google Drive for access only to files it creates or opens through this connection. It does not request access to unrelated Drive files. The copies are used for recovery after a server problem, not for advertising or sale.
The account owner can revoke the connection in Google Account settings. The encrypted backup remains unreadable without the separate recovery password. Cloudflare serves this information page and may process ordinary web request information to do so.
